Mindset – Mind It.
Have you ever admired or been inspired by people who keep achieving? Have you wondered what it would be like to get into the mindset of those trailblazers in your office, community and the world, at large?
Have you wondered what it is that makes them tick?
Their formula may be just in their way of thinking.
Mindset – A Game Changer
The perception we have about our lives and experiences does play a role in shaping our outcomes. Our mindset is not limited to how we perceive the world, but also is relevant in how we see ourselves.
We can give goal oriented mindsets as well as growth-oriented mindsets. While the former concentrates on achieving milestones, the latter relates to achieving a changing reality and better outcomes for both ourselves and the world at large.
“In a growth mindset, people believe that their most basic abilities can be developed through dedication and hard work—brains and talent are just the starting point. This view creates a love of learning and a resilience that is essential for great accomplishment.” ( Dweck, 2015)
Understanding the potential that each of us possess is the starting point that leads to breaking the mold of fixed thinking, simply because we perceive ourselves as failures because of self-limiting beliefs and victims.
In this vein, our rate of success (or failure) is more within our scope of control, than we may realize.
“Don’t worry about failure. Worry about the chances you miss when you don’t even try”
– Sherman Finesilver
Life is what we make of it, so be mindful of your mind. If you are yet to achieve your milestone goals and dreams in life, just know that you are just not there yet.
Think yourself to a new you and a new reality. Your mindset, afterall is your superpower.
